It's the weekend! Time to recuperate from the work week and relax.

Summer means that there are a multitude of musicians hitting the road. The Police, Genesis, and Steely Dan are selling out their reunion tours. Movie Essential: What's this weekend's HOT TICKET?
Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up" is getting great buzz as the best comedy of the year. If you check out this film from the director of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," let the Gather community know what you thought of it. (add tag: hot ticket)

Travel Essential
The weekend is a great time to take a day trip and explore your neck of the woods. Did you go on a hike or take in a museum exhibition? Tell your fellow Gatherers what there is to do in your area. You never know who might be planning a trip to your region and might need some pointers.

Diana, Happy gardening! I am enjoying your articles about the Sony Reader. It would have been a nice thing to have on vacation recently, rather than lugging 5 hard covers to Mexico and back.
I did publish an article that relates to this . . . in response to the notion of travel. I am finding Gather a bit confusing these days . . . filled with words and requests that I don't understand. For example, I don't get what is implied about "Essentials," but that 's no big deal. The piece I published has to do with traveling to a family cabin.
If you do write a review, please spell the director's name properly: it's Apatow. (I'm a fan of his stuff, especially "Freaks and Geeks".)
Janna, Thanks for the heads up about the correction. A result of the hazards of multi-tasking. I'm off to change it now. I saw "Knocked Up" over the weekend. While I thought it was a little too long, I would recommend seeing it in the theater.
