Beads 4 you Spring Challenge

I'm in a beading contest and I just got my beads in the mail. I did well in the Beads 4 you Winter Challenge and couldn't wait for the Spring Challenge. If you want to see the entries so far they are here: http://flickr.com/photos/beads4you/

The premise is that for $10.00 we all get the same lot of beads. From there we make an entry. There are two categories. Either you use only the beads that you got in the packet, or you combine them with other objects. You can send questions to the person organizing it at http://Beads4You.etsy.com. The site is down at the moment but I'm sure it will be back up soon. The deadline is June 31, 2007.

I'm looking forward to making something unique to enter.

my youngest would probably really enjoy that...assuming its open to Canadians, too ..... she did an awesome beading project for a contest entry .... wish she could have kept it!

Yes, any findings. For those that don't know what findings are its things like clasps and crimp tubes and ear wires.

Thanks. I'll go check out marblies. I started making a mobile with my beads yesterday. It has some balance issues but I'll have to wait until Monday to work on it again.

Hmmmm... I have so darned many beads already that I'm a little loath to solicit more! I like the concept, though, and it's a good way to see how different creative minds work. Two people using the same materials wind up with completely different artwork.
