When you were a teenager were you a: Mod, a Rocker, a Goth, or did you follow some other trend?

As for me I would say I was a Mod.  When I was a teenager The Beatles (and everything British) was the "IN" thing.  So, I wore the mini skirts, had the white boots, poor boy sweater, etc.  That was a fun time in the fashion world!

So, when you were a teenager were you a:  Mod, a Rocker, A Goth, or did you follow some other trend?

I actually hung out with gothish types for a time but I was always pretty regular looking myself.

I was a rebel for a short time: spiked hair, wore one earring and lots of clunky jewelry.

Then I was a Madonna wanna-be for about a year. Lots of mesh and cheap plastic bracelets. Luckily, I wasn't too much of a trend follower, and these fads passed pretty quickly.

I guess I am old because we did not have all those groups. I was with the in crowd for a year and they board me so I made up my own group. In high school I pretty much went my own way. I had a cousin who was in a motorcycle club so I went the same way he did most of the time. We were very close back then. I was not into peer pressure because I was a stronge person. My daughter is friends with all groups as well but not a true member of any group as she feels she doesn't need to be freinds with just one group.

Is, was, always have been a "square" - also known as dork, bookworm, nerd, etc. I wanted to be a flower child for the fashions, but couldn't pull it off. Oh, well, if it weren't for us squares, how would the fashion plates know what not to wear??? ;-)

I never fitted into one specific group. I used to wear boots and jeans, but I also wore my hair long. I listen to AC/DC but I also listen to Alabama. I have never been a follower or conformist. So it is not easy to for me to be put under a specific label.

grunge probably, I was a 90's teen LOL
strange colored hair, lots of black, combat boots, flannels, long skirts, and band tees
Then I think my style morphed to "hoochie".

Hey, its's not hard for me to admit. I was a prep.

Of course, I went to Catholic school, so it was hard to stand out in those uniforms!

I was definitely a Mod! Shopped in Carnaby Street and the King's Road on visits to London, just to make sure I had the latest gear. Shops like Biba and 'Stop the World, I Want to Get Off'..

I was a geek, I was compelled by own goals to learn as much as possible and to do as well as possible - I did miss out on alot as far as having fun - but, that wasn't my priority at the time.
