Chit-Chat at the Movie Theater Concession Stand

I went to watch the third Pirates movie and bought some ICEE at the concession stand. I paid for it with my University of Maryland affiliated credit card. It had the UMD logo and a picture of the Admin building on the credit card. The concession stand cashier looked at it for a long time, and asked if I went to the University of Maryland. I said yes. He then asked me if I had graduated or if I were a current student. I said I have graduated, and I thought it was funny since I shouldn't look like a young college student. Anyway. He asked me how I liked the school. Then it occurred to me that he might be interested in the program. So we chatted briefly. I would have liked to talk to him more, but the movie was about to start and I didn't want to miss anything. Of course, I didn't expect to be able to find him after I got out of the auditorium.

I thought it was an interesting experience. You just never know whom you might encounter at any given time and location.
