What Adults Do When They're Alone Together

When I was in my early twenties, there was a party activity we called "The Clove Game". The host(ess) filled an orange with cloves and handed it to a guest. That person then had the choice of pulling the clove out with their teeth or with their hands, and chose who it went to next. This went on until the orange was empty of cloves, and the empty orange was handed to one last person...

 Okay, so I left a bit out. First off, I have seen this played with toothpick halves stuck into apples and even potatoes. Secondly, when you take the clove out with your hand, you get a hug, and when you take it out with your teeth, you get a kiss. Pretty innocent for the most part, and the recipient of the orange gets to choose which it is, so there's no unwilling anything involved in the game. (Kisses on the cheek are allowed.)

The final thing I left out, the thing that gets parents worried, and makes teenagers make that 'wooooooo' sound they do when they think something is taboo is this; When that empty orange is handed off, the two people involved have to go into a room for fifteen minutes, alone, and "do what adults do". Those are the rules.

I had the empty orange once. I gave it to a girl I had met at the party, and we went alone into the room, talked and got to know eachother better, then had a pillowfight. It was fun! *grin*
