Barbara & Elisabeth Respond To Rosie's 'View' Departure

Hollywood -- Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck have addressed Rosie’s immediate decision to leave “The View” before her contract officially ends in June.

Though O’Donnell had announced weeks ago that she would not return to the show for a second season, on Friday morning, ABC announced Rosie had asked to be let out of her contract early and immediately, a wish which the network complied with.  What do you think of the way she left the View?

I think Rosie has kind of popped her cork! She's twisted off quite a bit! I used to love Rosie, now I'm not sure what to think of her!

Rosie is a dumb person I have never liked her and have never thought she was funny but rather crude, rude and crass. I am glad she is gone from the view. I didn't watch it all that much as it was but not once when she was part of it. She is a stupid person.

I am glad she is gone, I always respect other peoples opinions but Rosie was so way out of line that sometimes I wanted to throw something at the TV -- but I was afraid I would break it and didn't want to have to purchase a new TV. So her being gone will save my TV. LOL

I used to really like Rosie, but over the past few years she's really become completely obnoxious, even out-Trumping Donald Trump in her obnoxiousness. I lost all respect for her when it came out she told someone who worked for her at her now-defunct magazine that they deserved to have cancer.

I know she gave "The View" a lot of publicity, but I'm so tired of listening to her. It almost ssems like she's been going out of her way to stir up trouble.

That show can't last much longer, they're losing co-hosts right-and-left. They should just replace it with something else, not that I would be able to watch it anyway since I'm at work during that time. It's just a big ole mess all around!

she is a complete MORON and I cannot stand her. Ever since she "came out" she hasn't been the same. If I want an opinion of a famous person....it ISN"T Rosie !!!

she needs to be on some medication and tamed in a big way. She will probably be getting her own talk show soon ...isn't that how it works in the entertainment world?

She reminds me of a childish bully and she showed her immaturity in the way she left the show. She showed her true colors (not that we hadn't seen them plenty of times already)

I feel sorry for her. I believe she is very depressed (long before any of this) and I sense she's really become insecure. I think it's the feeling down and insecure that is making her lose it a bit as far as her web blogs go.

None too professional. All the rest of us working Joes need to give two week's notice! And if she was SO close to being out of the contract, what's a few more weeks? I've been hanging on at my job for months because they keep extending my contract.
