I must admit, I'm a TV addict..I am a fan of quite a few shows of many different varities...
My favorite shows are over now, some won't return until January or even later..
Lost, 24 are two that I already miss...well, add Amazing Race, Surviver and Dancing with the Stars to the that group.. oh, ane even Bill Mahre took off for the summer last week..How dare he!
So what's on now in TV land?
Surprisingly , there might be a few goodies on the horizen.
Last night I found a show called "On The Lot"..this is a Stephen Spielberg Production...it's premise is to find promising film makers who submit films they have produced to be rated by judges, ala"Dancing with the Stars" or American Idol" the tv audience votes and the contestents are eliminated..I found the show interesting with some good little one minutes films shown...I voted and will watch again.
Another show I look forward to is the Traveler, on Wednesday nights..maybe it will fill the void left by Lost..I know it can't completely but maybe it will at least hold my interest.. this week is the rerun of the first show then the first new episode follows
Then there is a little obscure show I discovered while recuperating from my back surgery a few months ago....( I really watched a lot of TV then) it's called Cash Cab and can be found on the Discovery Channel...A game show that takes place in a Cab in New York City..unsuspecting folks get into the cab,,, lights go off and the cab driver informs them of what's going on...then they answer guestions and earn money...I especially like to see the city go by as the cab drives to their destination...If they miss 3 questions, they have to get out out the cab, regardless of where they are...for some reason I'm totally hooked on this show..the cab driver is really funny, (he's a stand up comic) and the questions range from easy to pretty difficult as the prize money goes up....It's on usually at 5 and 5:50 during the week but they just announced it is going prime time...Wednesday night at 10....If you like game shows then you might enjoy this one...
And lets not forget Rescue Me is returning for it's 4th season in June on FX channel...if you haven't seen these shows I say run right out to Blockbuster and get the DVD's of the first season...this is one of the best shows on television..well, at least in my humble opinion..
Ok, I feel better now at least I know there are a few good shows to entertain me and get me off this computer..:)
What will you all be watching?

I'm not sure that it will be as engaging - most of what I liked about it was his perception of things he was experiencing for the first time ....and now that he's been kicking 'round awhile, there isn't as much room for that... but I'm going to try to catch it and give it a shot
I love Cash Cab on the Discovery Channel. Its fun to watch, as the host is so entertaining. Its a shame not everyone has heard about it. People get in a cab and can win money by answering questions by the number of blocks they need to travel. There have been many challenging questions.
On The Lot is an ok show, but some of the people shouldn't be on the show. It was two hours last night and it really dragged in places. Its not doing well in the ratings and hope FOX doesn't cancel it before having a winner.
will have to ckeck out that Kyle XY show. I've never heard of it, thanks
Mine were 24 Big Love LOST NCIS CSI (las Vegas) and Boy! was I sorry when Deadwood endedn
Reality shows to watch: Big Brother 8, America's Got Talent, and Fast Cars & Superstars will all be starting soon.
And on the USA Network: Monk, Psych, The 4400 and The Dead Zone will be starting soon also.
A new ABC show called Traveller started last night. 2 hour series premiere. I actually liked it more than I thought I would so I will probably be keeping up with that too.
Think I watch a little too much TV? LOL!
Then I thought of So You Think You Can Dance.
American Inventor 2 is starting soon...June I think.
Another interesting looking one is The Next Best Thing...celebrity impersonators.
My boyfriend and I both love reality tv. Especially the ones where something good comes out of it. He had to give up the reality tv channel when he moved in with me. He was afraid he would miss it, but I think there's plenty to watch on all the other channels.
Just watched the second ep from season 4 I laughed so freaking hard.
I also got into Kyle XY a few months ago. I like it a lot.
