Do you have any plans for vacation this summer? Where are you going? A lot of people like to take summer vacations with their families, do you have any suggestions for someone who is looking for a new place to go to?
My main dream of a vacation would be visiting my Brother and family in TN or my son and family in ARK!!! So ~ O would have no good advice for you on any other vacations!!
I am really trying to get to Memphis for some bbq and blues. I don't think it is going to happen, but I still would like some time to indulge in food and music.
I think it we can't take 4 days, we will probably just take two days and go down to D.C. for a museum trip.
Well, Leanne I guess I am on vacation right now, as I am in my home country because of family stuff. Besides this (very expensive) vacation, we might go up for a trip to North Florida, when we return to South Florida, but if we do, it would be for the main purpose of my husband attending job interviews, and for us to look at daycare, schools and the area. I think our vacation budget has been emptied though.
I want to try and explore more of my city this summer. Our city has done so much in the past few years to really rejuvenate our downtown area and in the past, I've been too busy to really go out and look. I figure with high gas prices, it's probably a good idea to stay close!
I also am going to a lot of concerts. I have my list here.
We always go to the same place every year....Wildwood, NJ in August. We go with my father's family and it's a big family reunion every year. There is about 35 of us all at the same hotel and it gets more and more fun every year now that all of us "cousins" have kids and the 2nd cousins are getting to know each other and can't wait to see each other every year too. My grandmother is turning 95 this year so we are thankful that she'll be able to attend again this year.
hey i love memphis its a great town. i'm going to florida this summer to visit family. we don't have plans just whatever sounds good when we get there.
If you and you're family like camping Yosemite National Park in California is a great place to go. Not sure how far in advance you can make reservations.
Well my husband and his family are going to Arkansas to the Ozark Mtns for a weekend.. Then also in June we are going to my dads family reunion for a whole week to Quartz Mountains here in Oklahoma.. My dad has 7 brothers and 6 sisters.. yes same parents! My dad was the baby of all of them! There is normally about 200-300 people show up. Its the biggest family reunion I have ever seen! But Its Great Fun!
We're going to the beach in late June, which is an annual trip for us. We are also hoping to make it to a theme park before the summer is over, but no guarantees.
