I agree with you there is something about a good pet, but my cat is about to get on my last nerve! She's not letting me get any sleep at night. :(

My dog, Henry, made me feel like somebody. I needed him as much as he needed me. Just thinking about him makes me sad.

I had never had someone that relied on me and that made me feel great. We were a team and took care of eachother. I never made a move without him, he was always by my side. I took him everywhere with me, even work. Try explaining an 80Lb. lab to your new boss:)

When I lost him suddenly, I felt like my whole world was falling around me. It has been a long 2 1/2 years and it is still hard to talk about.

Nuff said.

My two cats, Peanut and Midnite wait for me everyday after work and wait for a hug or for me to pick them up. After a hard day at work, this just makes me feel so good. I all Peanut my "glue stick" cause he is always by my side and Midnite my sleek panther. Not sure what I would do without them.

A good pet is one that you don't have to clean up after, and doesn't make much noise. I loved having fish in an aquarium. My husband took care of it, the fish made no noise, and I had nothing to clean up.

Well, I do not have a pet, but I grew up on a farm, and I have always had lots of pets. I cannot wait until the day, when my husband and I finally can buy our own house and make it possible for ours sons to have pets.

My favorite pet was a dog that I had. She died shortly after we moved to California in 2001. She was born deaf. I found this out after I had for a few weeks and wouldn't give her up because I felt someone else would hurt her. She was a loving and expressive dog. You could tell so much with her eyes. When I finally left my ex boyfriend, I made sure she went with me because I was afraid of what he would do to her. She was my friend, my companion and was with me during a very difficult time in my life.

I wish I had a pet because I love animals. The only pet I ever really had was a Siamese cat that was the meanest animal on Earth, but I loved my mother's Doberman because she was so sweet tempered. I also adored a horse I learned to ride on, a Morgan named Chime. She was also very sweet tempered and friendly.

I had a wonderful dog named Ford. He trained himself, was a joy to be with, loved to run and play with MUCH younger dogs. He was a lover not a fighter.
He was part German Shepherd and became disabled due to degenerative mylopathy. When it got to the point where I had to support him for "toileting" purposes, I had to say good bye.
He may be my last dog as my heart is still broken.
He has been gone since August 2000.
