The online world has created many afilliate programs that allow you to share in profitable multibillion dollar internet sales. Unfortunately, most of these programs give you pennies when you are looking for dollars.
Amazon.com is probably one of the most recognized programs, and most people with a website have a link to it or a banner. Occasionally you get a sale and make a dollar or two, but unless you have unbelievable website traffic, it never seems to add up to much. Commission Junction has hundreds of these programs that although are completely legitimate, they are not real money makers for the average person.
So how do you know a good program when it stares you in the face?
1. Not as commonplace as Amazon.
2. Pays you residual income.
3. Multi levels so you can recruit others underneath you and profit from their sales.
4. Niche market so you target ads.
5. Marketing support to help you sell.
Here is an example of what I would consider a terrific online program.
The name is Tel3Advantage and the service is like a virtual phone card with very low long distance rates. It can be used at home, with your cell phone, and for businesses.
Here is a link to the agent program:
1. You get your own website completely packaged to sell the service with no cost to you! You never have to speak with or service customers that you get through your site.
2. You get marketing support including banners, links, flyers, tips etc.
3. You can recruit 2 levels of agents below you and share in their commissions and residuals.
4. Substantial commissions and residual income for the life of your customers.
I actually use the service myself for my international calls (you make commission on yourself as well!)
Here is a link to the actual service.
Whether you are an agent or a customer, this program offers the cream of the crop in online services!
There are not many programs like this that do the bulk of the work, give you everything for free and pay such large commissions!

Surprisingly enough there are no risks. The company has been around for over 10 years and is very well know in its niche marketplace. The service is terrific and saves people a lot of money!
Nick:
MLM just adds potential income, both initial and residual. There are Tel3 agents making six figures that have not recruited anyone. I just think it makes it easier when you can build a team to work for you as well.
I have been a Tel3 agent for over 3 years. They ask for your SSN because they actually provide a 1099 at the end of the year if you earn over $600 in that year and most people do. It is completely safe and legitimate!
See the link on my Website, http://technigenius.com
I pay US$19.95/month and have unlimited free calling in the US, Canada, and 19 other countries.
I don't earn any money (except if you sign up through my website), but I save a lot.
They transfer your commissions every week directly into your bank account (when it is over $50). They used to use checks but there were too many problems with the mail and returned checks. Like I said, I have been with them for years and the commissions hit my account like clockwork. Direct deposit is actually the best way to get paid.
1) They are benefiting from the product-- with Book Wise, particularly, there is 10X the value in the product as the monthly cost, and
2) They can share the good news with other people and begin building their own residual income.
Especially with something like Book Wise where books, lifelong learning, and personal development are the product, you will never run out of people interested in getting involved. Frankly, phone service, like the program Jane mentions, is another product that will always have a customer.
article Jane. Thanks so much for the info!! :)
They have a solid gold reputation for privacy and security for its reps and customers.

They do not use Paypal. You can as others suggested set up an account specifically for Tel3. Unlike survey sites and the like, many people make a full time living with programs like Tel3. It is a real "work at home" opportunity!
It is funny how people hand their credit cards without a hitch over to waiters in a restaurant who they know nothing about, but get queasy when they are virtually doing the same thing over the internet.

Satis
Unfortunately, Tel3 is just for US and Canada residents.
I try to generally promote programs that are worldwide, and of course AGLOCO is the Cream of the Worldwide Crop!
Thanks, Diane
Your a wonderful person to always be ready to help all of us!
Don't think this is for me though.
I have to disagree with you! I've seen many affiliate sites that offer you everything that you just mentioned and more. I belong to a few of them; however, I won't mention any names for the sake of unbiased critique. In addition to what you sited about affiliate programs not paying much, there are many where you also have to pay a monthly or annual fee for various reasons.
Some companies call it a an administrative fee and others call it a membership fee. In some programs, the more tools and resources they offer you, the less commission they pay and higher fee they charge. I look for programs that pay over 50% commission. At one time I belonged to one program that paid a whopping 80% commission on every order of software I made.
I'm sure if you check on more marketing products, you will find the points I brought forward to be true. One other catch to look for is how much autonomy the company will allow you in advertising and what ad copy you can use. Some entities can be very strict on how you promote.
I just wanted to say I am finally going through what is now under 6,000 pieces of gather new mail that is in my inbox on here.
