Last Tueseday my son and nephew graduated from 8th grade into the 9th. There was a big ceremony at the high school to celebrate. I know most parents get really excited about their kids and family during these events, but for us it was even more special. You see Tyler, my nephew, is autistic.
The past 3 years have been wonderful in the way Tyler has become more social and communitive. Especially considering his mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, cancer. She's the lady in red beside him. Now she's fine and he's amazing. He is so full of life, even in his own world sometimes.
When Tyler walked across the stage and shook hands with the principal the whole audience stood up and clapped for him. He had a smile from ear to ear.
My son, who was also promoted, yelled out, "Way to go Tyler!" Tyler's smile got even bigger.
Just wanted to share.
Blessings to all!!!
