Happy Monday Everyone. Those of us living in the U.S. are commemorating Memorial Day TODAY. I, personally, would like to start this day by thanking our brave soldiers, veterans and fallen heroes for paying the ultimate price for our freedom, democracy and way of life. Words are simply not enough. I am so grateful and thankful to you. Now, on to TODAY’s top three Gather experiences.
(1.) TODAY Gather is saluting our nation’s war heroes by featuring articles on our homepage all day about the true meaning of Memorial Day. I suggest you come back often to read and comment… and bring along some tissues… these articles are moving. Also, it’s not too late to join in on the Memorial Day conversations by posting your own thoughts, tributes and words of remembrance.
(2.) Also TODAY, what better way to spend a summer night than surrounded by great friends, enjoying great wine and cheese? (3.) Finally TODAY, there have been lots of questions surrounding Gather e-mail of late. TODAY, I’ll try to answer those questions. As I mentioned Friday, Gather has launched a delicious new daily e-mail called “Orange Juice!” OJ is an inclusive digest aimed at keeping you up to speed on everything that’s happening in your network on Gather. It’s one-stop-shopping delivered right to you. Right now, you’re probably getting Orange Juice every day. If you’d like to change your setting, simply go to your "My Gather" page and click on the "account and mail settings" link inside the blue box that surrounds your icon. This is also where you can manage the rest of your Gather e-mail notifications.

I checked with our technical and development teams and there have been some glitches getting the OJ digest out to our entire membership base. If you haven't received your OJ yet, please be patient, it's coming... Gather is working hard on bringing this great new feature to ALL our members. Although today is a holiday... our tech team is working on this bug around the clock... but I am lucky enough to be enjoying this day at home with my family. I will have a more inclusive update for everyone early tomorrow!
" Right now, you're probably getting Orange Juice every day." The way it was explained here I thought you had to go to the settings to uncheck it. Mine was not checked and I shall leave it that way. Thanks!
