A poem I wrote as a gift for my daughter, from my perception of her perspective.

We have a little kitty, her ears are topped with fluff
and when I try to pet her, she cannot get enough
For schritchins, love, and snuggles
her patience knows no bounds
even when my sister picks her up
and drags her all around.
She tiptoes through the garden
careful with the plants
and when we cqll her by her name
she does her little prance
to let us know we're not in charge
of our baby stray
I love my grandma's kitty
and I think she's here to stay.
