A new trend

similar to 6 weird things about me and 5 wonderful things about me:

10 Wonderful memories

1.      Dancing in the living room with a boy/man who made it feel magical.  Being loved by him as if I’d never been loved before.

2.      Traveling west in a propeller plane – into the sunset for what felt like hours (I was five)

3.      sleeping with my dog Sunny, who always laid her head on my shoulder (yes, I sang to her:  “Sunny you’re so true, yes I love you”)

4.      Trying to cuddle my dog Little Girl and she responded with “boy, boy, boy, boy” loud and clear (I laughed so hard, she repeated the sounds each subsequent time I put my arm around her the same way)

5.      The scent of Christmas trees from the stand on the corner when the weather was a bit warm and damp.

6.      Taking all the dogs to the vet for their booster shot and Little Girl whipping her head around and pulling the syringe out of her flank.

7.      Having a boy I had a crush on get transferred to my class (I was in the 6^th grade – he was in 6-5 and I was in 6-1 – it was a miracle)

8.      Being there when my godson was born (I got to see him first – before his mother did!)

9.      Going into a bar on my birthday at the lowest weight as an adult and actually being noticed (and “hit on”)

10. Watching my dog, Ford, run and play (countless times)  When he was 12 years old, people kept thinking “12 months?”
