Katie Bar the door..........but leave the windows open??

Hi everyone, I've been away for awhile due to technical (damn laptop) issues. Right now this fickle little s.o.b. has decided to work, so I wanted to take this opportunity to invite one and all to take a very good look around at the country we live in today, because if this immigration (amnesty in disguise) bill passes it will cease to exist very quickly. This is not some xenophobic attempt at creating panic. It is in most elemental form, basic math.

As detestable as I find the politics behind John McCain's recent rationale for supporting this coup de grace for American culture thinly disguised as a immigration bill, the basic premise of what he said is exactly the reason he should, as an American be steadfastedly opposed to it. Unfortunately McCain exposed himself as a politician first and American second. I take no joy from this statement. I have always had tremendous respect for McCain for willingness to take politically unpopular stands to remain true to his beliefs of what was best for this country.

For those of you that are not aware of what he said, allow me to paraphrase.

He said he helped craft this abomination because, "The republican party is losing the Latino vote in huge numbers and we have to do something about it".

I can not believe that McCain believes that backing this bill is going to bring the Latino vote to the Republican party. He is too politically astute to believe that is the case. Even if that were true, what does it matter if the only way to grab a percentage of that vote is to become the Democratic party?

This legislation is the final piece of a plan that began in 1965 with the changes made in immigration law at that time. Up until then the immigration policy of this country was based on a quota system that set a specific number of immigrants from each country for citizenship. Furthermore that number was filled by choosing applicants who had met specific skill and or trade criteria that were deemed beneficial to the US at that particular time. In other words we chose who we allowed to enter our country for citizenship. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but was the US being overrun with illegal immigrants before that? Did we have large groups demanding that we change our culture to suit them rather than the other way around? The legislation that changed this initially was created in 1965. That, coincidentally I'm sure, just happens to coincide rather nicely with the creation of Johnson's "Great Society" or as it is more accurately described, the welfare state. This serendipitous confluence of events delivered millions of votes to the DNC. Not enough to lock up one party domination, but the first step to it.

The next major piece to this long term plan of destroyong the United States and creating a North American Union (along the lines of the EU which was so much easier to create because there wasn't all that much annoying democracy to deal with there) was designed by none other than the senatorial frat boy of Massachusetts, Edward Kennedy. To be fair, the GOP was complicit in this incremental erosion of our culture. They stood idly by and allowed their own relevance to be diluted a little bit at a time. Whether that was a result of ignorance or worse, matters little now. 

In 1989 Kennedy introduced another Immigration Bill, this one he ASSURED would be the final amnesty offer for illega aliens and would end illegal immigration by closing previously exploited loopholes and problems with the current system. He promised in no uncertain terms that granting amnesty to the (at that time) millions of illegals already in country would not encourage a second wave, as the opponents to the bill argued. That bill passed and another 5 million plus democrat voters were immediately created.

Which brings us to the present abomination championed by the Chappaquiddick Kid himself Teddy K. While supporters refuse to call allowing aliens who are already in the country illegally to stay while they are given fast track priority to citizenship over immigrants who were stupid enough to apply legally for citizenship, amnesty, that is precisely what it is. You can call a pig a lamb, but when you butcher it you get ham not lamb chops. The number the press most commonly uses as the current illegals in country is 11 to 12 million. The numbers most commonly bandied about by non-partisan groups are somewhere between 22-28 million.  That the mainstream press is in bed with the illegal alien lobby is beyond dispute. If 5 mexicans show up in one place they call it an immigration reform demonstration.

So let's put all this together. As of the 04 election there were approximately 180 million registered voters. Most recent government statistics show that approximately 40% of this countries citizens receive a check from the government at least monthly in some form or another. In other words 40% of this country are either employed the government, employed by a government contractor, not employed and on welfare of some sort (ie; AFDC, SS, SSDI etc). Take a wild guess at how that 40% votes consistently......Would you believe 96% vote exclusively Dem??  What a shock!! Now I'm not a mathematician, nor do I play one on tv, but if one were to take the median number of 25 million and divide that by 180 million, I believe you would come up with about 16%, or enough to ensure a one party political monopoly and in short order the complete dissolution of the American culture the left so desperately wants to eradicate. If the Senate gets this bill passed into law it is a foregone conclusion that this country will within 10 years be literally unrecognizable to the one wegrew up in. Adios United States of America, Buenos Dias Estados Hispanico de Norte Americano. Disagree if you want, but it's tough to dispute the results of math a 5th grader can do.
