Makes me think at least the family will know where their family member's body is, and it won't lay out in the elements until a child or hiker stumbles across it. It makes me think that by the time the murderer gets to this chair the victim and the victims family have been lost in the race to keep this criminal alive. It reminds me that the murderer has had years to prepare for their death and to say goodbye to family members, have had a last meal, and had a chance to speak to their spiritual adviser, something their victims didn't get. It reminds me that in many cases the death penality is justified.

I'm with Amy - sadness. Sadness because someone will lose their life, sadness because the reason is they probably took someone else's life, sadness because the death of the killer won't undo the death of the victim, and above all, sadness because the world is such a mess that we need such a device.
