So, we used to have a Costco Executive Membership (the $100 one) that paid us 2% back for our purchases each year. When our son was first born, it paid for itself because we were buying diapers, formula, wipes, and some groceries there. Now, we rarely shop at Costco so we didn't renew the membership. We were thinking of renewing at the lowest level (I think it's $35-$45) just to be able to shop there occasionally, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
I've heard that Smart & Final is the same kind of store with no membership fees. I'm not sure how their prices and selection compare, though. We do have both a Smart & Final and Costco in our area, but I was wondering if any of you shop at either store and can help me decide what to do.
We would regularly buy boneless skinless chicken breasts, chicken nuggets, cheese, and diapers at Costco. Does Smart & Final carry these same things? How do the prices compare? Even if they are slightly higher in price, if it would still be more affordable with no annual fee....please let me know. We are trying to stretch our dollars as much as possible.
