I wanted to update everyone on how I was doing with Quitting smoking..
I had made it my new years resolution for this year to quit smoking... Well, I may not have done it in January, but I sure am going gung ho in May....
I am doing really good. Although I do have bouts of wanting a cigarette at least a couple of times a day, I am able to pass off the urges more easier than on the first few days. I am finally starting to be around family and friend again whether they are smokers or not. What made me feel really good is when I seen the smokers outside and I did not have that addictive urge to go and bum a smoke from one of them, and the smell they generated was just aweful. Even though there were outside, the smell ended up permeating inside the house. And you can even tell when someone was just outside for a smoke as the smell lingered with them. I never realized just how bad cigarettes smelled.. it is soo aweful.. the smell is actually starting to make me nautious when I do smell it.
So needless to say I want to say that I am now a non-smoker, but with the cravings I get, it makes me feel like I have not totally suceeded yet. What is all your opinions on this comment I just made.
Here are my Q-gadget stats.. if you want your own stats, just log onto www.quitnet.com and they do the work for you counting all the stuff.
