The color orange...I've found that I really only enjoy it when I find it in Nature.

Bannana split slushies.... mix in blender: cherry juice (I've also used Welch's Cherry Burst juice which gives a nice pineapple kick too), bananas, ice, vanilla ice cream, chocolate of somesort we used peanut butter oreos MmMmm! and vodka... Kaluha (however ya spell it) also works Very well if you have no chocolate or vodka lol. Basically, anything you like on a bannana split with ice and alcohol lol. Alan had chocolate covered peanuts added to his. Liquid refreshement that will kick you in the butt if you forget you are drinking an adult beverage lol! MmmMmm

LOL@Crow tiddly at a bluegrass festival... sounds like you had a Great time lol. I am Queen of Frozen Adult Beverages by the Pool.. or in the pool... or in the house if it gets kinda cold... or warm adult beverages by the campfire Yum! Nothing quite like warm apple cider and capt morgan lol we call 'em Jolly Rogers!

glad to know you, wordsmith. -this is staggering in its simplicity--it crushed me in a way that hugs from warm giants might.
by that same token...it moves like a shaman's tongue, presenting a practical truth of Being--that we are ever chained to The Ones Who Make Us Feel.

thank you Robin... It's still too new, too fresh... too hard to grasp that such a bright light is gone so soon. I felt he had great things to do here, but I guess he was needed more elsewhere. he taught me so much in the brief time I had with him and I was grateful for every second of our time together. Those last three days when they were here before going to california I kept looking at him and thinking... thank you, thank you, thank you. I had a feeling when they left that I would never see him again, but I didn't think it would be like this. I can still remember his smell, his hand in mine, his smile, the wetness of a well sucked thumb as he hugged me goodbye. the tears just aren't ready to let up yet.

Death is just another turn of the Wheel... I am greatly blessed with many kind and loving friends, family... there is still great Beauty in Life. Zakary taught me so many things... I wouldn't have missed this time with him for anything. We'll keep going.

I like that particular Papa Roach song quite a bit as I can really relate to what he has to say there. I'm a LOT less likely to extend a helping hand to someone who I see is "drowning" now, because of all the times I've been pulled under and nearly drowned myself! These lines really sum it up...

"I can't help you fix yourself
But at least I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life"
