Some improvement to my computer gremlins this weekend has allowed me to start a new blog of stuff http://judecowell.wordpress.com entitled, Jude's Threshold, a reference to Saturn's guardianship of the threshold--those moments of new decisions and directions we all must negotiate in life whether feeling ready or not.
With Saturn, the more seriously considered the better, for he's a "long-term efforts reap long-term rewards" kind of guy, and I was privileged to be hatched when four planets were in Capricorn, the sign ruled by Saturn.
Jude's Threshold now has not one but two SlideShow Collages of drawings...the first set up last evening with a mix of Secret Moon Art images and some Cosmic Persona Designs for your perusal.
And just a while ago, I added another Collage with Dreamyfish Art portraits to meet and greet you!
So now I'm listening to some cheer-inducing CDs on my stereo which our musical monacake mailed to me (yes, an old-fashioned stereo for I can't keep tiny earplugs in my ears for nuthin' and I assert that they are bad for you) and it's a gorgously dappled sunlight day in Georgia. Besides, after dealing with a plethora of politics over the weekend--reading, blogging, etc--I have run screaming to my shelter of Art for comfort.
Now what other artsiness did I accomplish this weekend?
Oh yes, I uploaded three images to my Lulu Storefront at http://stores.lulu.com/cosmicpersonadesigns due to the kind instigation and encouragement of our own Penina Finger who knows more than a little about graphics--thanks, Penina!
Yet even though I scanned, saved, and sent with high-resolution wings to Lulu, Lulu countered that my images were not high enough resolution to be offered as Framed Artwork or as Posters, so they are Downloadable Only. Can ths be so?
Well, I sent them at the resolution they recommended...guess there's more to understand in the web world than I can fathom with my slow dial-up (the only choice of service I have here.)
At least I created even more of an Art Web with my own sites'n'blogs than before--creaky computer notwithstanding!
