The Bachelor hasn't generally been my cup of tea, but this season, my husband and I were sucked in by the first episode. It seemed nearly unbelievable to us: A handsome, Ken doll-like Naval officer who also happens to be a surgeon and makes his home in Hawai'i... lookin' for love in all the wrong places.
We watched each week as eye-candy surgeon Bachelor Andy (whose painted on smile has been, at times, comical) weeded through the women who offered themselves up for his evaluation and hopeful consumption. We were surprised when it seemed that he eliminated the 'right' women most weeks. He was getting rid of the good drama, after all, and what's reality TV without a healthy helping of drama?!
At any rate, the finale is tonight, and I'm itchin' to see who walks away broken-hearted, and who floats off with Andy, fat diamond ring on her finger. (Since I distinctly remember him saying during the premiere of Dancing with the Stars - he was in the audience - that he was engaged!)
Will it be Tessa, the dark-haired Washington DC native who now makes her home in San Francisco and was slow to warm to an ever-intrigued Andy? Or will he offer the final rose to Bevin, the blonde gal with whom he shares undeinable physical chemistry, but a questionable practical connection?
We'll see!

Andy... well, what drew us into the show is the whole 'unbelieveable' factor. He seemed so plastic and unreal. I think 'Ken doll' is a nice description of him. :)
Michelle, check it out if you have time. It's amusing if nothing less.
I was fully expecting him to choose Bevin, so when I saw her get out of the first limo I was shocked.
