THE EX

I caught this one with my husband. At first he wasn't going to watch it, he wanted to see Hot Fuzz- but I had seen that one already. This movie was funny. Zach Braff and Amanda Peet are living in the city planning his promotion and the birth of their first born. Zach's character gets fired, then the fun begins when he decides to take up his father-in-law's job offer. All sorts of crazy stuff happens at the new job, in the new town.

I really thought my husband wasn't going to like this one..but he did. I gave it a thumbs up also...it is not oscar worthy...but it really was pretty funny.

It was pretty good Ed. He was excellent in his role. Jason Bateman was also very good!

It hasn't been advertised that much on TV, but I did see quite a few coming attractions in the movies.

I hope Mr. Braff, after this "just another version of the character I played in Garden State" effort, secures more challenging roles in offbeat projects.
