How would you complete the blank? There are many choices but the one I've decided to use today is SMILING ! Yes smiling.
Life gives us many challenges. It also gives us many choices about the ways we will deal with such challenges.
There's something about a smile, a giggle or a guffaw that can change your view of a situation, if only for a moment. It's at that moment that you can take a break from thinking about what is bothering you, so take a deep breath and smile.
What next? Let your mind focus on a happier moment in your life - just let it drift for a while. Then allow those good thoughts permeate your being and draw a smile, a giggle or a guffaw right out of you. Take your time, take a walk, sip a cup of tea.
This moment of levity allows your body to relax and may relieve the tension you may be experiencing so take your time.
When you return to what has challenged you, perhaps you'll now be in a better place to begin to deal with it.

Smiling is something I practice regularly and for one rather unusual reason...my mouth naturally turns down at the corners and if I don't make a conscious effort to smile a little, I look like I'm really unhappy.
