Family Movies

Cats & Dogs...it's not animated, but it's cute.

Our favorite family movie is The Princess Dairies. We also enjoy watching The Mighty Ducks. I have never heard of The Dark Crystal. I will have to check that one out.

Milo and Otis, Zathura and Jumanji, Narnia, any of the Harry Potter movies.

Newer onse that seem really good are, Happy Feet (animated), Charlotte's Web, Eragon.

Zathura - Space movie that is basically a Jumanji 2. Wonderful setting and the kids LOVED it. The ages ranged from 3 to 9 and Hubby and I sat through it about 4 times with them so far. LOL.
Narnia- I was not so big on this movie, but my 4 and 9 year old loved it. Better than watching My Little Pony over and over.
Harry Potter- The first and second movie are good for young kids, I think after that they get darker and scarier, so would depend on the child.
Charlotte's Web- Watched this new take on an old classic last night. My kids LOVED it. The CGI on the talking animals is really good, and it sticks right along with the classic.
Eragon- A dragon movie about a teen finding out who he is, saving the world from evil king... normal hero stuff. The CGI dragon captivates my children, and the storyline is good enough for adults to actually watch.

Kelly- I love The Neverending Story, and The Dark Crystal. Watch them at least once every so many years. I need to find copies to see if the kids like them.

Kjersti- Mighty Ducks 1 + 2 were HUGE with the kids I used to babysit. Another hit was Free Willy. Not sure about Free Willy 2+3 but I am sure they would go over well also.

Cheaper By The Dozen was a good one to watch with my 9 year old.

I've been a Parent Trap fan since the original with Hayley Mills!

Looks like a great summer for movies. Looking forward to Pirates of the Caribbean III. We're going to see Spiderman 3 this next week.

Oh I LOVE both Cheaper by the Dozen movies...Daddy Day Care is another good one
