I finally got notice that an article/review I submitted on Associated Content was published. This is only my third one, but different from the other two. First it included an image and was exclusive for pay. My first was non-exclusive at no pay and took two days. The next was for pay non-exclusive and took total of four days.
This time it took six days and about three from the time I accepted offer. Is this because there was an image attached or because it was exclusive and someone needs to search online for these to make sure they are not duplicates?
I even went to the forum to post but only found one thread worth adding to and then it gave me the id Bonnie with some numbers after it and no way to input my member id. It took awhile to even find the forums to see if there were any responses and I even checked I wanted to be notified of replies, but no emails ever came to alert me. I had to search all over for the forum and found it is not accessible through their home page.
Starting a thread was even harder, but finally I was able to do so. It was a disappointment with only one response. My post was on who or what determines related themes? I read an article on sleepovers for kids and one on diapers, yet the related themes were Alex Baldwin, all things relating to alcohol and abandonment. That was totally not related and the response I got was that other people notice that too, but no rhyme or reason to it. Maybe I should do a search for an article on that topic and consider writing about it.
I read one thread that talked about cut and paste comments and several people were talking about one or more popular Content Producers who do this and already after reading there for a few weeks I have seen this and most likely the person I think is that same one. We seem to have that here at Gather as well with people posting the same obnoxious comments.
I want to know if your turn around time for an article differentiates if it is exclusive, non-exclusive and pay, no pay and if an image is included?
How often does the site update to show the new clout level? I hope I have time since I was waiting in limbo for so long before wanting to post another article, so will do a batch this weekend.
If you delete an article from epinions.com and post it for exclusive pay at Associated Content, can it still show up on shopping.com or once the author deletes it, it is gone?
I am on digg, but have not done any of my reviews yet, might this weekend, and tried to do del.icio.us, but the tool bar did not show up after I downloaded it, so might just stick with digg and learn the ropes of that first before moving on.
I don't really want to make money on Associated Content but market snippets from my autism site and get more readership there and promote my stuff on AC. Hopefully the process will go smoother this weekend and then I need to write more on my own site.

I wish I could help more with your other questions.
Good Luck!
And you cannot offer it excl if you put it on Eps before, even if you delete it from Eps. You can, however, delete from Eps, reword the article, and then submit it as excl...
(meaning I don't know if they have the CM's 7 days or five a week)
