Festival Time on the Farm

I'm on a committee that hold a festival each fall for 2 needy families in our area. This is a great event. We are a non-profit organization.

We have our first committee meeting this Friday, and I have been so busy these past few weeks I haven't had time to be on gather much. I've been getting sponsor book forms, letters, and all the misc. ready to go out.  Currenlty, I'm in the process of updating the website, which is: www.fallenwaterfarmfestival.com . It is a work in progress, I still haven't found the right template yet, but I'm working on it.

The Festival is a 2 day event, and it is always the 3rd weekend of September

This year's will be September 14th and 15th. It starts (rain or shine) on Friday at 5 pm and runs to 10 pm and on Saturday it opens at 8 am and closes at 11 pm.  There's always lots to see and do. With Live Country, Gospel, and Blugrass music on the stage.  

Each family we sponsor receives an equal share of the proceeds.  Along with the money, we have a canned food drive and the food is also divided equally between the two families.

Last year we sponsored 2 cancer patients, one was a 4 year old boy and such a joy to be around. Over the years we've helped a lot of people, and each of them have touched our lives as well.
