Nice weather this weekend brought this non-correspondent outside to complete much needed spring yardwork. Recent weeks of heavy April showers led to waist high weeds in some parts of the vegetable bed.
Two days of hard labor cured that eyesore. My terrace is now ready to accept beefsteak and roma tomatoes, along with the complimentary beans, zucchini, hot peppers and cucumbers. The upper level grapes and strawberries are choke free and enjoying some fertilizer. I was feeling pretty pleased with myself after the assault.
However... after a deep and restful sleep, this non-correspondent is finding out she had muscles she didn't know about.
If you, dear readers, would like to find muscles like these of your own, please feel free to drop by my garden for a weeding party. I guarantee you will locate those muscles by the next day.
Um, Mike... please pass the BenGay.

Perhaps if I ever have my own home and space to do it. I don't know the first thing about growing anything except chillin's
(note the apostrophe)
I admire you, I'm quite sure your little sprouts do as well.
(Sorry, Joanne, the devil made me do it!!)
Maybe we should get together and drink and rub BenGay on each other.
Wait. I didn't say that. Don't tell mike that. He'll never leave this thread alone.
