Not much into haiku style poetry, but this was a very nice peice. Loved the alliteration in the second line and the overall imagery was beautiful. Looking forward to reading some more of your work.

I could hear the paddles gently hitting the water and feel the canoe gliding forward. That is the best. Love the photo with it too.
