A few days ago, I posted an article, "Ask the Celiac" to take questions about my auto-immune disease. About five minutes later, I realized this could lead to a whole series of articles, and I followed it up with "Ask the Queer Woman". Subsequently, I realized I wanted to ask other people lots of questions do and so created Ask the _______ (asktheblank.gather.com) for people to post their own offers to answer other people's questions.
So far, the group has been fantastic -- people are respectful but still asking hard questions they've been curious about that aren't necessarily appropriate in traditional social discourse. It's also been fun -- smart and often funny. Stop by to ask questions to teen moms, migraine sufferers, folks in interracial relationships, professional students, a polyamorous man, and pretty much anyone else you can think of. More than anything I want you to join and volunteer for your own questions -- it's a greak way to meet people on Gather (and gain points), let other people know about your life and foster understanding.

Thanks for creating this, and for considering me interesting enough to mention in this article, Racheline. And, while I'm at it, thanks to everybody who's made this group fun over the last few days.
I have not been on much in the last few days the smoke from the fires is giving me awful headaches, and I think I really aggravated my herinated discs in my back, but when I get a minute I shall check out all of the articles.
