I think GOLF is a pointless sport but I guess several million retirees can't be wrong, huh? And yes, I know, I might like it if I try it but I probably won't. :D

I quite like golf to play every now and then, but to watch it is very boring. It's entertainment not sport when I play.

Eating competitions, it depends on which food it is. What was the film where there was a pie eating competition and the boy was sick over all of the audience? I think it was a dream sequence.

I can't agree with that, because GB won a gold medal at the Olympics one year. It's all we win at the Winter Olympics.

Curling has been played to the same rules (roughly) in Scotland for hundreds of years. Cunningly, we have managed to export it to foreign shores, along with our emigrants!

I suggest snooker or darts as contenders.
