here they are,
-what kind of legacy do you want to leave behind when you leave this earth?
-where do you go mentally and emotionally when you are singing? (i notice you drift somewhere)
-where do you get your strength from, when things are not going as you hoped?
-who inspires YOU?
- I love walking my dog or sitting in my patio when I need to unwind, or if I need to think about something, do you have a place you go or something you do, to unwind, or to when you need to think?
- Ive read personal fitness is something you are into, how often do you exercise and what type of exercise do you do?
- Now that you live in Los Angeles, what are some of the things that you miss the most about London, and or Australia? Do you often get 'homesick'?
- What do you enjoy doing when you are not 'working'?
- If you weren't able to pursue singing, acting, what other field do you think you'd be interested in?
- What embarasses you? Your most embarassing moment?
and career wise,
- Is going back to theatre, whether West End or maybe Broadway, a possibility you keep open?
- When it comes to the material you have been writing for future albums, how would you best describe the genre it falls into?
- Is there any career decision that you have made in the past 2 years that you feel was possibly a mistake?
- Of all the people you have met since Rockstar, is there any one person who has impacted your life substantially? Who?
and one more,
- Do you ever go back and read the comments that are left after you blog on myspace?
-your brown boots, are those your 'walking shoes' ?
"I had a pair of walking shoes, and I tied them real tight, set out for the promise land, as the sun was shining bright......"
and I guess I'm also asking, how often are your original songs personal, about you?
Thanks MiG!!! =)
I posted this in the other thread so I thought I'd bring it over here. Thanks for taking the time to chat with your fans in the middle of your busy UK schedule. Good luck on Thriller Live! by the way. My question for you is do you have a favorite song or songs from the stage productions you've done? I'm sure that the songs from WWRY rate very high in that catagory but, how about the others like Buddy, Rent, Grease? Any favorite songs from those?
Much love...
Hey, where exactly are you right now, MiG, doing this chatting thing?
with that said, one more, last one promise!
what was the name of your very first song you ever wrote/recorded? and what was it about.
thanks so much for doing this! you give so much, i hope someday we can give half as much back to you =)
Please join me in welcoming MiG to Gather.com this evening.
There has been lots of discussion on Gather lately about MiG , his music, tour and exclusive Gather.com contest and tonight he is going to spend the next hour with us answering questions from Gather members.
To keep up with the chat and view recent comments you will need to continuously refresh your browser and scroll down to see each new comment.
Miggy, your on!
Happy to "see" you here.... or anywhere for that matter. :-) I imagine you are reading through all those questions posted with your anouncement.
Hope you are finding your tour intriguing. How different is it than anything else you have done? With so little rehearsal time, I hope it doesn't feel like RockStar. And how do you learn the songs so quickly?
You must have an exceptional memory for music and lyrics, just as you do for people and their names.
Now I 'm going to sit back and read what everyone writes. Am looking forward to reading your answers.
LEt me start.
MiG
Hey MiG!
Okay, for the questions:
1) When are you coming to Seattle? *Just HAD to get that one in there!* Haha!!
2) When will the songs that didn't make it on your debut album be available for download (Day After Day, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Have You Ever Seen The Rain & Someone Saved My Life Tonight) and what was that you said in a MySpace bulletin about "Ordinary Man" possibly being a BONUS on the CD??? Did you mean as a download since the CD is already out?
3) Would you ever consider playing Galileo in a movie version of WWRY? And, if so, I need to get Brian May's phone number on my speed dial!!! Haha!!
Thanks for doing this Live Chat, MiG, we love you to bits!!

my favourite song from RENT wpuld have to be SEASONS OF LOVE, but anything from WEST SIDE STORY... but probably performing WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER in WE WILL ROCK YOU would be my favourite r]from my shows.
otherwise.. yep... he's got lots of typing to do!
Hey MiG!! It's so exciting to have a chat with you!!
we do love you guy :)
MiG, If you do a show in Vegas I'm SO there!!!
Better for my career? I don't know. It's been harder because there are no guidelines and I'm making things up as I go along. If I was with INXS I'd just have to hang on for the ride. It's early days yet. I wish I'd had the cd out sooner, but things always go differently. I just hope people still remember me.
What's your favorite musical you've ever seen and what's your favorite show you've been in?
How do you get through tough times?
What's your favorite song that you've written, or favorite one you've sung?
Are you asking about the bonus trax? I'm not too sure about that. There are several ones that I wish were on the album. They were to be used as bonus tracks for certain websites and stores. I guess they will be released as Decca seem fit. Stay tuned...
My favourite memory from WWRY? Singing with Brian MAy on stage for the first time. We were scatting and playing with each other on WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. Never forget it.
Planning a US tour? Always planning for it (been planning all my life!) Still planning, no definite plans.
The video for SHE LOVED has just been edited yesterday! I love it. Very proud of it. We will release it very shortly. Hopefully in conjunction with a big radio push for the song. Hopefully very soon!
Awesome news, thanks for letting us know!!!
How many instruments? I play the piano, sing, and the guitar (badly). Wish I could play bass and drums. pretty good on the synthesizer drums though. I play a mean record player too.
How do you get through tough times? and What's your favorite song that you've written, or favorite one you've sung?
One performer to perform with? Wow.... Bono from U2. Paul McCartney wouldn't be a bad one either. If I had my choice, Iit would be hard to ignore Stevie Wonder or Billy Joel. Oops! You said one, right?
I was just wondering what your daily regimen is for keeping that hot bod of yours?
Love ya!
Peyton
Did you get your pic made with it on so we (NBS) can see it?
My older songs on a cd? There is every chance. I have some great material I can't wait to put down, but will wait for the 2nd cd. I might put in the old ones. They are very dear to me. Let me know what your faves are.
Hey Lisa! Worst practical joke... Actually it was also the best practical joke played on me by my wife Simmy and the whole ROCKSTAR crew, when she surprised me by visiting the ROCKSTAR mansion, when I thought I was talking to her in London. Sacred me out of my wits! And yes, I have gotten her back. Revenge is sweet.
Fave song I've written: ONE SUNSET AT A TIME
Fave song I've performed: ANGIE
Yes I wrote ORDINARY MAN very recently, as we were locking in songs for the cd, Matthew Wilder and I sat down and wrote it in a morning, recorded it that afternoon, but it was too late to make the presses. It is however going to be a bonus track.
here's one question hoping it gets in =)
-your brown boots, are those your 'walking shoes' ?
"I had a pair of walking shoes, and I tied them real tight, set out for the promise land, as the sun was shining bright......"
and I guess I'm also asking, how often are your original songs personal, about you?
Thanks MiG!!! =) miss you , love you, so much!
How do you deal with tough times? Any suggestions?
You guys have done so much for me. All I ask is to continue to do what you are doing. My fans totally rock. I can't ask for more. I wish everyonbe else was as great as you guys. Just please keep the faith. I will never give up!

Let me try to answer some of your q?
What do I do when I'm not working....? sleeping! But really I try to do normal things. Living in California, I try to make the most of the weather. Going to the park, beach or for a drive to new places. I am a sucker for weekends away. Just no time to take a break at the moment!
I love it when you have a full band and can be free to be MiG! on stage... you have such a great stage presence and stuff - you could hold ANY crowd I think! :)
So, do you prefer having a full band so you are free? or do you feel more comfy behind the piano?
(which I LOVe to see you rock out on too)
What did you "do" during "Seven Seas of Rhye"? Heehee
Hi! I'm in my hotel room in London's Kings Cross area on my MacBook. It's 1.32 am. Just got back from doing a show in BRIGHTON. Kinda sad, right?
In writing a song, do the lyrics or the melody come to you first? Do you find any aspect of songwriting especially cumbersome?
when will you visit us again?
good luck in your stint in Thriller Live!!!!
