Nice poem, excellent rhyme! I agree about the conflict pointed out by Alison. Certainly you mean to propose, not purpose, to your girl.

I agree with Alison on the ""O MY SOULMATE, WANT TO GO ON DATE" line. Date nights are important for soulmates; but the section maybe should be more; like:

Oh my soulmate,
I find it hard to wait;
Your are my life,
I want to make you my wife.

Other than working on the green section; it is a great poem. The sentiment is sappy; but if you are writing it to a girlfriend; she will love it.

I also agree with Karen - "you are the eight wonder after the seven" is a great line.

You really do have a way with words.

it is nice to see romance is alive and well insome people, however,brevity goes a long way to stating what you feel without making the reciever feel pressured. state your love,state your reason,ask your question. simple but very romantic. a ten dollar bear bought at walmart on the spur of the moment witha note that says "today i thought of you " does more than a hundred dollar bear from vermont with a long sonnet from shakespear. but set to music your poem will make her think. AND WITH FEELINGS THAT STRONG SHE SHOULD ARRIVE AT YES.

This is avery sweet, heartfelt, and meaningful poem. I am glad others cleared up "purpose" to mean "propose" because I was a little bit confused until I read their comment. However, the poem was beautiful.

You are looking the wrong place for love my friend. The internet is a bad place to find a long term relationship with a woman. Also studies have proven that the more time you spend on the internet the lonelier you become becasue there is no real human contact here iit is only a diversion. Your poem is beautiful, and shows a beautiful heart. I hope she shares your feelings. Another possibility, if you don't want to change the whole "date" line would be, "want to set a date" instead of go on, which is refering to setting the wedding. I can't imagine being able to do that well in a language that isn't native to me. Great Job!
