De Ja Vu

I knew you well a long time ago.
In another place,
at another time;
a friendship of the soul
A bond forged
for reasons
Neither of us know,
Just a feeling
that we were once friends
Eons ago.
Fate and destiny make a stand
When souls intertwine,
though they are worlds apart,
for the soul knows no boundaries
In matters of the heart.
Karma draws us back together,
Though daily living keeps us miles apart.
Separate paths and circumstance
And life begins again.
Our souls will always find each other
Because we are forever friends.
