I just do my thing and keep my head down.
Six Weird Things About Me
1) I have written a book that just needs some serious editing (Masters Thesis) and I have been writing FLUFF instead of editing it. It's a biography of a woman and stirs up a lot of stuff inside emotionally for me to go back to it. part of me cringes that it might be horrific but then again, it woudn't have passed the first round through committee if it were c****. Even accomplished writers get freaked out and intimidated.
2) I love to throw parties.. I will invite 100 people and create a "drink of the day" and have tons more food and drink than I need and then wind up having to dump stuff too because people bring things too
3) I love to shop. I like the act of going out and checking out what's hot and what's not. I don't impose my notion on everyone but there is that occasional fashion mistake that is made (typically via ebay) where I buy something that would have looked better on someone taller than myself or I fall in love with the idea of the dress or piece -- but don't look at it realistically. Even a fashion editor can screw up!
4) more on shopping. I am known for buying things that I love.. LOVE.. but then won't use them because they are so pristinely beautiful.. whether it's a lipstick or a dress or a handbag... sometimes I just want to look at it.
5) I was once a Shape Magazine Success Story.. If you don't know what that is, you don't need to know. Those who know the magazine, will know what I am talking about. I didn't submit me, they came and found me.. because someone had been surfing the net and heard my story. How weird is that.
6)People seem to get my name wrong or assume I am a guy. I have been called Phoebe, DeeDee, and lots of other things including Steve, Steven and MR... and that's even after they have heard my voice. I definitely am a girl.
So Michelle C.. there you have it! That's six weird things about me. I could give you a couple more but if you know about my dog-- that's weird by itself.
