I think this article puts a little better perspective on why all Americans should be concerned about the firings of the Assistant US attorneys. It's not just the political rangling the corporate media paints it as, and we should be asking why our business as usual congress people aren't shouting it from the rooftops. Link to article below:

The article starts off with "Even many on the left are a bit speechless when asked what the crime is here. Bill Maher's eyes glazed over when promted."
And there is a reason nobody has anything absolute; nothing illegal can be proven.
Then the article states the following:
"Here's the freakin crime:
18 U.S.C. § 1512 c. which states:
(c) Whoever corruptly—
(1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object's integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or
(2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.
Catch your breath, Ron. Those are NOT crimes. Those are laws. They printed a list of laws. It would be a crime if they could show how Bush broke those laws, but all they go on to show is highly subjective circumstantial evidence.
The string of crimes and incompetence by this administration is getting so long that anyones "eyes would glaze over" trying to absorb it all.
