Wild Weather again

I hope no one was killed during the latest round of tornados in the plain states....my prayers are with them.

I need to go and check the weather channels. Thanks for the tip. And also I am sorry of such happenings.

I think some might have been Janet, this is horrible that they no reprieve and have to go thru again today.

Yeah, I know Amanda. I sometimes get terrified traveling. We have been in some bad storms and came out lucky. The scariest was on our way to the PA RENFAIRE a few years back. A thunderstorm had started while on I-76, to my left I looked up and there was a cloud rotating sideways...it was the coolest and scariest sight I ever saw , I also knew if it turned and touched down - we were in trouble. There are not that many exits on the PA Turnpike.

Then about 15 years ago, while in the Berkshire Mountains in MA- we went to the mall before going to a baptism. While in the mall it got pitch black out and the loudest thunder I have ever heard- then the mall lost power. When it was over, people were saying that a small tornado had gone past the mall, when we went to our cars - we noticed trees down. I have to say I wasn't scared in that one, because I had no idea what was going on...the one in PA- I was petrified.

Yeah those tornadoes were something aweful to see on the news and the youtube video.

I know, I cant even imagine

Terrible what happened in Kansas. So sad.

I wonder if there are any donations stations set up on Long Island- I don't have money to donate- but I do have some supplies.

Isn't it sad, and so amazing the power in those tornados. Just a video on the news of one that literally came right up to the camera.

I saw one like that the other night, crazy.
