My daughter works in the office of a gated condo community in the winter and in the summer she is head life guard of the pool there. This evening she came home from work and told me that her boss went to check on a condo that was recently vacated by renters. When she opened the door a horrible smell of cat urine hit her and then a kitten of about 4 months old ran up to her crying and freaking out.
The Frickin' tenants left the cat locked in the condo for days with no food, water or litter box!!!If she had not gone to check the apartment that cat would have died!!! She rushed him back to the office and gave him water and then they went out and got him food and a litter box. My daughter said he looks just like our cat Bandit and is very loving and affectionate.
Left for dead and still trusts people.... They are going to keep it in the office until they can find it a home.
I just don't understand this.. they knew the cat would die with no food or water... they could have at least put it outside where it would be found. I would love to lock them up for days with no food or water and see how they feel!!

Those people had to give some information upon renting the condo. Maybe there is something that can be done. Might be worth a call to the local police department or animal shelter.
I guess the owners of the condo aren't in the state or on vacation or something to that effect..so I am sure the cat would have died!

my daughter's boss is going to report them... and no I am not keeping the cat! I have 4 already.
What in the world goes through someone's mind to commit such a crime of abuse.
Actually, my second cat, that I wasn't planning on was one I rescued from a girl that wasn't to drop her off at the vets office (the vets office doesn't take in animals). I couldn't see anything happening to the cat so I spoke up and said I'd take her. She's actually the most sweet and loving cat I've ever had.
