I am sooo angry and frustrated that I don't know whether to scream of cry. I was called into the office today because a child that I have bent over backwards for and her mother that has NEVER had anything to do with ANYTHING made a list of complaints against me and a co-worker. The child has been in trouble for 2 years and finally today, I told her there was nothing more I could do for her if she didn't want to help herself. She proceeded to get angry and swear at me which resulted in a referral to the office...She called her mom and hence....me in the office....grrrrr....the harder I try with some kids, the worse I am treated by them. I just want to give up some days.
Long story short, I have another co-worker willing to take her and that works for me. It just makes me feel like crap. Anyway, I just had to vent....Thanks for reading !!

All you can do is try and keep your head held up, as long as you tried, that is all you can do. The parent has to take most of the blame there.

Nana- maybe tomorrow I can see this as a "poor" child again, but today...well, let's just say that is NOT how I am feeling....:(
As for the low ratings.....thanks everyone for defending me.....but really and truly....WHATEVER...sometimes people just have no compassion...luckily the rest of you are here....:)
