Before and After: a pink Tulip now gone

Hello all. As some of you know, one of the groups I own is called "Before and After" and it is a place for everyone to post Before and After pictures and stories.

I decided I'd add these pictures to the group. I already submitted the 1st picture HERE that I took on Easter in Albany Oregon, but am now adding the 2nd picture that I took on April 21st just to show that this beautiful pink Tulip is now gone.

I TRIED to get the photo at the same angle as the 1st shot, but I forgot how I took it! When I got home and uploaded the newest picture, I realized the angle wasn't the same. Oh well - you guys get the idea!

My tulips are starting to bite the dust too. Funny story...when I first moved to this house, I'd inherited a massive amount of perennials I had no experience with, and that I didn't know what to do with. My neighbor is a fantastic gardener, so the first spring I asked her what I was doing wrong, because my tulips were dying. I had no idea they only bloomed a bit in the spring!

That is an interesting comparision. It is interesting to see how the flower deteriorates over time. Definitely not some thing most people would take a picture of, but it still holds some beauty.

Kjersti: Thanks for commenting and I love that you said "not some thing most people would take a picture of", because that's ME! I am most definitely, NOT "most people". I did take this with all intentions of posting to my Before and After group.
