Saying Good Bye to a Long Time Employee

I'm taking this time to say good by to a long time employee and Gather member Manolo M. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Manolo told me he was a Gather member.

I've worked with Manolo for about 4 years now, and I actually hired this guy twice. Over the last 4 years, Manolo has become a part of the store. Customers just love him, and so do the rest of us who work at the store.

Manolo finally got the opportunity to take advantage of his education. His last day at the store was yesterday, and he started his new job today.

We are all going to miss Manolo very much, however we are happy for him at the same time.

We are going to miss you Manolo ! Good luck on your new job ! We know that you will do well !

And don't be a stranger. Stop by and see us anytime !

Hey Tim, Thanks for the note. I actually started today at my new job, and I will miss the gang. I will also miss the interaction with the public, despite the occasional hateful customer. Lab work can be very lonesome and sometimes tedious. I know we didn't have that problem at the store. Have no fear, I will keep in touch.

I lived in Murray for 4 years Tim. I worked at the Purchase District Health Dept. (or was called Calloway Co. Health Dept) My brother still lives over in Palmersville, TN. I also have a best friend there in Murray named Jennifer Carrico. And another good friend in Paris, TN ~ Jeff Thorn ~ just a little tidbit of info ~ I just saw under your name where you were from.
