Location matters little when it comes to politics and the everlasting battle of ideas between the left and the right. And the left always shows its true colors when election day rolls around. Witness the latest goings on in France; liberals can not help themselves, they've gone on the attack in every possible fashion by using felt markers to write nasty things on his adverts, and 100 stars of the arts and sciences declared that “Sarkozy embodies a hard radicalised Right . . . with all its fears and hates. Entrusting the presidency to a demagogue like this means real danger."
Same old song and dance.

My sister lives in France. I feel sorry for her if the socialist wins, but then she tends to like the socialist programs.
it was pretty funny that the socialist Royale actually warned France that if she wasn't elected that their would be violent protest and mayhem all across France. Typical left wing fear mongering....

Tonight, Sarkozy (conservative) won and your liberals are in the streets rioting. So much for that great education.
Segolene Royal, the Socialist candidate, "warned of (threatened?) violence and brutality" on the day before the election...if she lost, of course. Sometimes the people who do the "demonizing" seem like the real demons.
All I can really say is stay strong in what you believe and fight the good fight of your conscious - I just can't pick a side when it comes to politics or even offer decent advice or a comment but here's a 10 for being thoughtful enough to share (even with us dummies).
