who is up for a challenge? To honor Kathline Gore (kathlinegore)

Kathline started wishes now I want to add more ideas..... 

 

Tomorrow, could you do something unexpected for a friend, family or a stranger? How about doing something so kind that you bless someone and you get blessed in return. Tomorrow night, write back and share what you did.

 Here are something's to give you ideas ... pay a toll for the next driver. Buy coffee for a crossing guard. Let someone go ahead of you on line. Help someone put groceries in the car. Leave a note in your kids lunch box with a smiley face. Call you spouse just to see how they are doing. We don't need to spend money to be kind only time. Walk a dog for a friend that can't leav e the house.  Get the mail before it starts to rain.  Send me more ideas.

I would tell my sons do one nice thing a day, and that person would do one nice thing and on and on it would go. Who is up for this challenge?

The exciting part will be when you come back and share your stories.

I bought a card today at the store and I am going to mail it to someone I know on gather but they won't get it for several days. So, I was alreading thinking about this. I will think of something else to do and come back tomorrow and post again,

nice ideas...I have often tried to get samples then hand them out to people I know that need them...I gave my neighbor a new shed and my old fax machine! I try!

I've just been the recipient of an act of kindness. Last year I gave our next door neighbor a bouquet of my lilacs that she had been admiring. She doesn't like our dogs and we had not been getting along so it was an attempt to mend our fences. This morning she gave my husband some stuffed animals for our dogs.

Marge, I love that story. I had a mailman that I didn't get along with. It was an ongoing battle between us. At christmas I put a lovely jar filled with candy in the mailbox for him and we became friends. Sometimes an act of kindness is all it takes. This is a wonderful idea.

yes, all nice and good but sometimes its hard to do something nice, whehter it be for your children, or grandchildren or good friends, nsever enough. my sons, take a lot for granted that it is expected. i am a widow and as hard as it is to understand, formy son, its devastating and painful still. to make things on your own, to handle things on your own. is nt easy. to give all your love to your children, and grandchildren without strings which i try to do. and give with all my heart is not enough they want not l00 percent l00 and l0 percent. so where do you draw the line.

Carolee, this is a nice idea of yours. I have been home all alone today; tomorrow I will be baby sitting my grandkids as usual. Will have to think of what I can do.

I'm proud to say I practice random acts of kindness when I can. Doing one nice thing a day for a stranger or someone you know is a great idea!
