My wish...

I originally joined Gather, because it was promoted to me as a place to earn gift cards.  Once I got here, I saw it for much more than that.  I have not promoted myself a lot, but try and write things that are interesting to me and original.  I have not forgotten that points are involved, but it is not my main focus.  My son, as you may know, is away from home.  He is in treatment, and has been diagnosed with Asperger's.   The only luxury he can have  is paperback books.  He reads them faster than I can send them, and it has become expensive.  It is my wish this weekend to get enough points that I can get a Border's gift card, so I can order him so new books.  This one weekend I wish to be a point whore.  Can you help me with my wish?

Howard and Sue, in a way, Howard COULD give you points, if he has enough for a book card. He can just have the card sent to you, instead of to himself.

Is your son only in short-term treatment? It must be hard having him away from home. A friend's son also has asperger's. They've tried various different programs for him and he's doing really well.

Well, if it wasn't for GATHER - I would be a hero.
I have over 2,500 points burning a hole in my computer that I can't use (Gather don't like we Canadians). They could be all yours in a click of a button.

Here's what we need to. Someone go find a PUNK that knows how to "HACK" into a website (Gather) and give people the chance to "CHANGE" their points to whatever they want.

Unfortunately I'm a straight and narrow kind of guy but if I happen to bump into someone who's crooked, I'll let you know. How many more Points/Comments do you need?
