No one went off. Ryan said they couldn't let someone go on a charity night. So next week they will add together the votes of last night to next week's votes, and the two lowest will go home.

I really thought that it was kind of cruel to do to Jordin though. Her family looked devistated and she must have been on a roller coaster of emotions. Other than that, I wanted to go to Africa and bring home all those kids. I talked to my son about having a book drive for that school in Kentucky next fall when he is in high school. He wanted to do it right now.

I think Lakesha and either Chris or Blake will go next week. I think the finale will be Melinda and Jordin. I saw Entertainment Tonight last night, before Idol, and Simon said if he had to put his money on it right now, that he'd say Melinda and Jordin will be in the finale.

I agree. Melinda and Jordin. And it's interesting to note that near the beginning, Simon said after a performance by LaKisha, "The rest of you can just go home!" so the process they go through really does make a difference. They learn a lot and grow and become better singers and probably even more so, better performers. If I had to guess, I'd say Phil (though I love him dearly) will be off, and either Chris or Blake.

I have to admit, I think Phil will go too. Think Chris might go too. I am not a big fan of his though. I think it will be Jordin and Melinda in the finals as well. Melinda is just incredible and she looks prettier every week. Jordin is fantastic and you can really feel what she sings. She would be great to see in a Broadway musical if she can act half as well as she sings.
