Do you have a vacation horror story?

You have gone on a lot of vacations, right?  Was there every a time you wished you went some place else?  my husband and I went to Turks and Caicos and I fell going up the stairs to check in the hotel.  I got 20 stitches in  my right knee and could not go in the water or sit  on the beach.  My husband had to push me in a wheelchair when I left the room. 
After a day or so, I sent my husband to have fun, and I watched TV

I met my daughter in Orlando two years ago, she was in pain when she got to my hotel...she didn't say much for a few days...then we went to Busch Gardens and by the time we got to the hotel she was throwing up and had a high fever. I rushed her to the ER and it turns out she had kidney stones...ps she had gone to the military dr before she left and he told her if was nothing, just a bladder infection and she was fine to go on the trip.

My worst vacation memory was on our honeymoon. Eventually it turned into one of my best memories. We went camping and it started to rain cats and dogs before we had a chance to get the tent up. By the time we set up the tent we were soaked and we managed to get mud all over the inside. I was starting to catch a cold and I was so miserable all soaked and cold. We knew there was no way we could start a fire in that rain so we packed up and headed for the nearest hotel about 30 minutes away. The looks that we got when we walked into the Holiday Inn were hilarious -- we looked like a couple of homelss people all wet and covered in mud. We then got even stranger looks when we asked for the most expensive room. We got cleaned up and went out for a nice steak dinner. When we returned, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow -- it was the best night's sleep that I have ever had.
