Disney released a report listing:
11 people have died after being stricken in a Disney World park in the past 2 1/2 years.
2 have died in the first half of 2007.
Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay reported no serious injuries related to their rides in the first three months of 2007.
Which brings this to mind. Are people so caught up in Disney "Once in-a lifetime" vacations,
that even though they may have a medical condition that the ride states clearly you should not ride the ride if you have this medical condition,
these people will ride the ride anyway?
Now if that is the case how & why should it be Disney fault that these people died?
My husband knows if anything should happen while I am on a ride, at least I was happy. Same for him & neither of us will persue legal actions.
Here is an article from the Sentinel:

But I agree with all that you said.
Having every person sign a waiver when they enter the park is silly at best. Know the ride(s) you plan on going on. If you go on the ride, that is your acceptance of any consequences.
Now if the ride malfunctions, that's another story...
Great post & well said Michael.
