How Would Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger...

Some of us at Borders have been reading Robert Dallek's provocative examination of the Nixon years, Nixon and Kissinger: Partners in Power. Inevitably, comparisons between Iraq and the Vietnam War have come up, which has some of us wondering how the former president and his national security adviser might have handled the Iraq war — knowing now what they didn't know then.

We'd love to hear what you think Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger might have to say.

I certainly hope Dallek has been able to breathe more life into this book than he did into "An Unfinished Life." I forced myself to finish the book, mainly because J.F.K. was my Irish Grandmothers idol in the 1960's. The book itself was like a sleeping pill in a book. There was more time spent on Joe Kennedys views than Jack's, I recollect.
