Spring Clematis glowing in purples, yellows, whites, greens oh my!

These are some recent photos I took of a potted Clematis at our friend's house in my hometown of Sweet Home, Oregon. I took these pictures within a few hours of each other the day before Easter this year.

I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed taking them. I took these photos with my trusty Kodak Easyshare Z650 with the macro setting and the only editing that was done was a little cropping here and there.

Yes I believe this is the JAckamani version but unfortunately up here in the North East, een though temps have been warmer, I don't even have leaves on mine. I hope it survived the brutal extended cold this spring? Thanks for the wonderful pics!!! I just returned from vacation. It's good to be back!!!

this turned out really nice! I have never seen one that the centers were almost as long as the outer petals. I was looking at these at walmarts today but they didnt have any blooms( just the photo on those little sticks and they never look like the flower but this one was dead on, wish id see this before I went, they are beautiful! i think the clematis is my favorite flower im my yard that is in bloom right now, I have just the plain purple, I would love to find some blood red ones been looking for them for sometime now, our little hick town is lucky to them at all.
