Happy and sad day for us!

Today is Timothy and Nathaniel's 4th Birthday. Tim is here, Nate is not. Tim is full of joy, fire and love. Nate left Love, faith and hope. Tim climbs on everything, Nate climbed to Heaven. Tim jumps all around, Nate jumped int God's arms.

Tim is a real kid, Nate is a real angel. Tim eats everything, Nate takes our breath away. Tim is a spitfire, Nate is our heart beat. God left us with Tim and God opened Heaven to Nate.

so sorry for your loss cannot be easy, whether it be a son, a father, a baby boy, a husband , a wife, anytime you lose a loved one is regretable. i ahve lost most of my family, a b rother, a father, a mother, friends, and of course my husband, and you never get over it, you only hope that you can carry on their spirit and never let anyone forget that sucha person existed, dont silence your feelings or thoughts keep it going as then he lives on. forever.in our hearts and in our thoughts

I know how you feel, I lost a grandchild. He only lived about 20 minutes. My daughter taught me so much about understanding the purpose of that child's short life. And his coming to earth for such a short while totally changed my life for the better. I'm grateful everyday to him for coming and sad, but grateful that he went. Life teaches us things in different ways, some painful, some wonderful. The statement "Nate is our heartbeat" is so well put. And, it's wonderful that Tim is there to give you comfort! This is an awesome tribute to both granchildren.

Carolee, I wasn't going to share this, but I went and checked out your daughter's site for Nate. I wrote a fiction story for a writing exercise here on Gather. The thing is, it's not exactly fiction. It's based on what we believe about my grandson and how he changed our lives. I think, from reading your daughter's comments about Nate that she may understand my story and it may mean something to her. Happy Birthday to both of your grandboys...whether they are with us on earth or have made their passage, they are still with us. Yesterday was my boy's thirty-second birthday.
He made his passage ten years ago this July.
