Darn it - I missed them!

Oh I hate when things like that happen. Still near misses are better than not even getting close! Enrique would have been my eye candy too.

I would have loved to have seen Enrique! I have all his CDs in Spanish.

I love Celine Dion and would love it if she did a concert in Illinois because I don't make enough money working as a daycare assistant for 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week to save up for out of state travel and would love to be able to take a friend with me,Chicago or Springfield would be nice or Bloomington or if not Illinois I have family and a few friends in Missouri that might be able to help with getting me to a concert,as for Enrique he's ok but Celine is one of the best singers in this country and if anyone dares to argue I tell them that if they don't like it when I play Celine Dion they can take a hike because its my room my cd player that I paid for with Christmas money and the cd I have my parents gave me for Christmas in 2001 which was the same year my Grandpa died so its special because he too liked Celine Dion he heard her singing on the CBS show Touched By An Angel a few times and said she was a good singer,he liked it when I played my Touched by an Angel soundtrack because then he could hear Celine whenever I came for a visit,he called her angel lady Celine.
He died peacefully one night in November in 2001 and it had been only about 15 minutes since the Celine Dion song ended when I had to shut off my cd player because it started storming really bad and Mom needed to be able to hear Grandpa's breathing so that she'd know it when he died.
He had battled colon cancer off and on for nearly 30 years and he gave up living when he was told they couldn't operate or do any other treatment because it had spread to too many other places in his body,he decided that there wasn't anything worth living for and refused to eat and then finally he refused liquids until he slipped into a coma.
My Grandparents were married 61 years when granpa died,I miss him alot so Celine's music has touched more then just my life it touched my Grandfather's life enough that he was able to die peacefully.
My Grandmother has now started asking me to play my cd's that have Celine on them because it makes her feel like Grandpa is still with us or at least smiling from Heaven.
